Custom Cabinets Made to the room. Not to a catalogue

We’re here to guide your ideas, build them well, and help create homes that work beautifully for the way you live.

Construction

How we build your Custom Cabinet

Every cabinet is drawn and cut to your exact measurements, no standard modular sizes and no oversized fillers used to make a cabinet “fit.” Your cabinets arrive fully finished and assembled, ready for our installers to hang in place.

The construction below is standard on every project. There is no upgraded tier, this is how we build.

5/8″ Plywood boxes

Five-eighths birch plywood throughout — sides, tops, backs, and shelves. No particle board, no thin back panels stapled into a rabbet.

BLUM Hardware, standard

Full-extension soft-close slides and soft-close hinges on every door and drawer. Lifetime-rated for daily use.

Made in-house

Cut, assembled, and finished by our own crew, then delivered on our own trucks — not ordered in from a cabinet line.

Assembled & arrives ready

Cut, assembled, and finished by our own crew, then delivered on our own trucks — not ordered in from a cabinet line.

6–10 weeks Typical lead time

From approved drawings to delivery. We confirm the date in writing before production starts.

Lifetime warranty

Cabinet boxes, doors, and hardware are covered for as long as you own the home. If a hinge sags or a finish fails, our installers come back and make it right.

What custom means

More than choosing a door style

Custom cabinetry should give you more control over the decisions that shape the room.

That can mean adjusting dimensions to suit the architecture, planning storage around the way you use the space, refining proportions, or resolving details around appliances, walls, and windows. Our role is to help you understand which choices matter most, then turn them into a plan that reads as intentional at every scale.

Planned Around You

Storage, work zones, appliance placement, and proportions are planned around your routines, not a preset cabinet configuration.

Versatility, Built In

Cabinetry can be adjusted in scale, function, and form to work with the room instead of forcing the room to work around it.

Finishes With Character

Mix woods, painted finishes, textures, stains, and materials to create a palette that feels distinctly yours.

Built for daily use

“The best cabinetry works quietly. A drawer opens where you need it, an appliance door clears the cabinet beside it, and storage fits what you actually own.”

In the Detail

Quality shows up at close range

Grain that runs across a bank of drawers, storage planned before it is built, a panel you cannot pick out from the door beside it.

Flush by default

Our standard is to bring doors, panels, and cabinet surfaces into the same plane, creating cleaner lines and a more built-in, architectural look.

No awkward overhangs

We build tall cabinets one inch deeper as standard, giving countertops a natural place to end instead of sticking out past the cabinetry.

Storage that works harder

From pull-out pantries and internal organizers to pocket doors and specialty hardware, storage can be planned around how you actually use the space.

Appliances that disappear

Paneled refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances can be built into the cabinetry so they blend into the overall design instead of breaking up the space.

Built by Abodian

Designed and built by one connected team

Installed by our own crew. The cabinetry we sell is manufactured by Abodian. That connection matters.

Our designers work with direct knowledge of how cabinetry is made, while our production team builds from decisions developed specifically for the project.

It means the thinking behind the design does not end when the drawings are approved. The details stay connected through production and installation.

Ways We Build Custom

One approach, more than one way to build it

Custom cabinetry can take a few different forms depending on the room and the look you’re after. All of it is designed, built, and installed by the same team.

Frameless Cabinets

Cabinet boxes built without a face frame, for a cleaner, more contemporary line and slightly more usable interior space.

Built-In Wall Units

Cabinetry built into the wall itself, from a media wall to a floor-to-ceiling bookcase, planned as part of the room rather than added to it.

Semi-Custom

A faster path to custom cabinetry, built from a defined set of sizes and finishes so it moves quicker without losing the fit and quality of a made-to-order cabinet.

Beyond Just the Kitchen

One approach, throughout the home

The same design thinking extends into other rooms. Each space is approached around its own function rather than forcing one cabinet system into every room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Custom cabinets are drawn and built to the exact measurements and layout of your room, with no fixed sizing. Semi-custom cabinets are built from a defined set of sizes and finishes, which moves faster but offers less flexibility on dimensions and layout.

Production typically runs 6–10 weeks from approved drawings to delivery, depending on scale and material selections. We confirm the date in writing before production starts.

Yes. The same approach extends to bathrooms, home bars, home offices, and beyond, each planned around how that specific room is used.

Some choices are easier when you can experience them.

Cabinetry is difficult to judge from a small sample or a screen.

In the showroom you can open full-size drawers, compare door styles, see materials at a larger scale, feel different finishes, and understand how the details come together in a finished cabinet.

Visits are private and by appointment, so there is time to work through the options with our team.
