Semi-Custom Cabinets: A Faster Path to Made-to-Order

Semi-custom cabinets are built from a defined set of sizes and finishes, so the process moves quicker without giving up the fit and quality of an Abodian cabinet.

In the Detail

How semi-custom works

Instead of drawing every dimension from scratch, semi-custom starts from a set range of sizes and configurations. That range still covers most kitchens and rooms well, and everything is still built in our shop and installed by our own crew, just from a defined starting point instead of a fully open one.

Door Styles & Finishes

Curated design elements let you personalize the external aesthetic from our established collection without open-ended complexity.

Use Case

Where semi-custom fits well

Projects on a tighter timeline, secondary spaces like laundry rooms, pantries, and guest bathrooms, or renovations where the room’s layout is already fairly standard. It’s a good fit anywhere the flexibility of full custom isn’t the deciding factor.

Construction

Design Flexibility & Limits

Semi-custom construction works alongside any of our door styles and finishes, the same range available for fully custom projects.

Some choices are easier when you can experience them.

Cabinetry is difficult to judge from a small sample or a screen.

In the showroom you can open full-size drawers, compare door styles, see materials at a larger scale, feel different finishes, and understand how the details come together in a finished cabinet.

Visits are private and by appointment, so there is time to work through the options with our team.
